Play House

Chalk Architects revamped the childcare with a series of low wooden house-shaped low modules which are transformable as functional storage and working surfaces. One-room One-house concept; Spaces are designed to be open clutter-free, allowing the kids can have all the space for learning and are not restricted by physical tall walls. Inspired by bible story of Noah's Ark, the corridor is lined with simple geometric animal cut-outs on the wall, hanging umbrellas that sway with the wind and a ceiling design that mimics the clouds. A controlled palette of pale natural ply and pastel colours brightens up the learning area.
